How We Check US Claims
The register answers one question per company: what does it say, on its own pages, about where it is, where it ships from and who tests its lots? This page explains how each answer is recorded.

Pages we read
For every company: the homepage and footer, the contact page, the shipping policy, the refund policy, the terms, the FAQ, the about page and the lab report pages. We do not log in, create accounts or place orders. If a page is behind a login, the register says so.
What earns each stamp
| US-based | The company shows a US address or says plainly that it is based in the US. |

| Ships from | A shipping, FAQ or homepage statement that orders leave from the US or from a named US place. "Free shipping on USA orders" is about the destination, so it does not count. |
| Not stated | We could not find the claim on the company's own pages on the date shown. |
How map pins are placed
- Ships from (stated): the state the company names as its dispatch location.
- Business address on site: the state in the address on its contact or terms page, when no ship-from state is given.
- Manufacturing statement: a state named only in a statement about making the product.
- Team location (stated): a state the company names for its staff.
A phone area code, a time zone or the state whose law governs the terms never places a pin on its own. Pins sit on an approximate tile map, one square per state.
How companies are scored
Ranks come from the same 7 weighted criteria used across our vendor checks. Each is scored 0 to 10 from published facts, then weighted to a total out of 100.
| Independent testing (25%) | A certificate of analysis (COA) for each lot, from a named third-party lab such as Janoshik, Finnrick or Freedom Diagnostics, with the lot number and test date. |

| Price per mg (20%) | Listed price per milligram across five commonly stocked research compounds, compared at the same vial size where possible. |
| US shipping and speed (15%) | Ships from inside the United States, states a processing time, and offers tracked shipping with a clear free-shipping threshold. |
| Transparency (15%) | One consistent business address and legal entity, a working contact channel, and published terms, shipping and refund policies. |
| Refund and reship policy (10%) | A written policy for damaged, lost or incorrect orders, including reships, with clear time limits. |
| Catalogue and stock (10%) | Range of research compounds and blends offered, and whether listed products are actually in stock. |
| Customer reviews (5%) | Rating and number of reviews on independent platforms such as Trustpilot, read together with community discussion. |
Our pick is pinned on top of every list because of its customer rating. Its rank and score are never changed. The funding is explained on the about page, and the rules we write by are on the editorial rules page.
What we do not do
- Buy, test or use products.
- Confirm where any product was made. We report what the company says.
- Publish anything about use in people or animals.
